Barnhart woman arrested for Christmas Eve stabbing

BARNHART, MO (News First) – The Jefferson County Prosecutor’s Office has filed multiple charges against a Barnhart woman for a stabbing at her home on Christmas Eve. Lisa M. Albrecht allegedly stabbed a 48-year-old woman, a 68-year-old man, and a K9 unit in the 1900 block of Parkton Way.

Investigators say a 47-year-old woman was injured while trying to stop the stabbing. Albrecht allegedly began stabbing herself after 911 was called.

She was arrested and taken to a hospital. She is now in custody at the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office where she remains without bond.
