WAYNE COUNTY, Mo (News First) – Four people were arrested on methamphetamine charges yesterday (Thursday) in Wayne County. According to the arrest report from the Missouri Highway Patrol 48-year-old Joel D. Bland of Wappapello, 42-year-old Joseph A. Crow of Poplar Bluff, 53-year-old Penny D. Eltannier of Poplar Bluff and 23-year-old Kayla D. Thompson of Dexter were all arrested and each charged with one count of possession of a controlled substance. All were taken to the Wayne County Jail in Greenville where they will be held on 24-hour holds. The four await their initial date when they will appear in court to answer to their charges.
